Trío Sanromá's performances have been praised for "giving a lesson in musicality, well-cared ensemble, and clarity of execution," Luis Hernández-Mergal. In addition, their applauded participation in the first virtual edition of the Casals Festival in 2020: "... demonstrated the virtuosity of its members with perfect intonation on the strings and technique and musicality on the piano," El Nuevo Día.

In residence at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico since 2015, the Trio has played in the Sanromá Hall of the Conservatory, and on stages throughout the island, aiming to bring important works of the classical canon to schools and cultural centers. Their ever-growing repertoire ranges from Haydn's trios to contemporary works, with special attention to the work of young Puerto Rican composers. In addition to the complete cycles of the Beethoven (in progress) and Brahms trios, they have performed works by Arensky, Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, Turina and Piazzolla. Highlights of recent performances include the premiere in Puerto Rico of the work Celebration, by the composer Johanny I. Navarro, and the Triple Concerto Op.56 by Ludwig van Beethoven with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico. The Sanromá Trio is made up of professors Francisco Cabán Vales, Luis M. Rojas, and Diana Figueroa. The 2020-21 season culminated successfully with their second consecutive participation at the Casals Festival.

Their concert schedule for the 2021-22 season includes a program for Pro-Arte Musical de Puerto Rico, as well as the continuation of the Beethoven trios at the Conservatory, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of the great composer. In addition, they will be working on a program of the French repertoire that will include works by female composers, as well as a full program of music by Puerto Rican composers.
